Wen saying her goodbye's to her late mother. The day she left the monastery was the day she forgot her life's long training. All that is left of her mother's memory is the katana she wore and another for Wen.
Meaning: This is not only my OC's start of her backstory but also a tribute to my late grandfather who passed from covid-19. The top left reads: "Tai David Wong". Wen represents how I felt throughout this last month without my grandfather: sad but determined.
The katana represents how strong he was as a husband, father, and grandfather.
